At the end of this course, you will have a complete understanding of the higher functions of Word. A: Microsoft Access is a database management systems application software program, which allows users to have a collection of related data. A: TITL manages five (5) static (non-digital) billboards located across the island. For billboard availability, queries and bookings, please contact the Business Development, Marketing and Communication Department.

A: The cost of the billboard does not include artwork or placement costs. Clients can provide their artwork or ask that TITL outsource these services on their behalf at an additional cost that is equal to the cost charged by the company outsourced.

Mobile Emergency Response Alert (MERA)

Q: What is the MERA service?

A: The Mobile Emergency Response Alert (MERA) service provides users with easy access to first responders in Tobago in the event of an emergency. The user is provided with a mobile device that can be worn around the neck or wrist. Users can contact emergency assistance by the push of a button. If a fall occurs, the device will initiate a call for emergency assistance. The MERA service includes:

  • Delivery of device to location
  • Device testing and activation
  • Access to first responders
  • Ongoing technical support

A: The MERA service can benefit the following persons:

  • Elderly persons living alone
  • Persons with chronic diseases such as diabetes, cancer, heart disease, stroke etc.
  • Persons with disabilities
  • Persons who require monitoring

  • Peace of mind knowing that emergency assistance is one push of a button away
  • Motion detection in case of falls

  • Persons who pay in advance for six (6) months will receive five percent (5%) off the original cost of the subscription.

Q: What is Pearson VUE?

A: Pearson VUE provides computer-based testing for Information Technology (IT), academic, government and professional testing programs around the world. Pearson VUE provides a full suite of services from test development to data management and delivers exams through the world’s most comprehensive and secure network of Test Center Locations in 175 countries.

 

Q: Where in Tobago is the Pearson Vue Test Centre located?

A: The only Pearson VUE Testing Centre in Tobago is located at Tobago Information Technology Limited (211 building), 48 Signal Hill Main Road, Tobago.

 

Q: Is onsite exam scheduling available?

A: Candidates are responsible for scheduling their exams. Test Administrators can assist in the scheduling process where necessary.

 

Q: How many persons can your Test Centre accommodate?

A: The maximum accommodation capacity is six (6) candidates at a time.

 

Q: How will I know if your Test Centre offers the exam I am interested in?

A: During the scheduling process, you will be asked to select a test centre.  If our centre is an option to select, we are authorised to facilitate that exam.  You can also contact us at 639-1987 ext 110 or 211 for verification purposes.

A: None. All required stationery will be provided by the Test Administrator at the Testing Centre.

Q: What is a Snap Ad?

A: A Snap Ad is a short, approximately fifteen (15) seconds, voice-over that promotes an event, a business, its products and or service. Snap Ads will be heard by callers of the 211 Centre.

STEM Programme

Q: What is STEM?

A: STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics using a combined and applied approach.

A: 8-11 years (Primary school)

      12-15 years (Secondary school)

A:  The following four (4) modules are currently offered:

A: There are usually four (4) cycles held for the months of July and August. All cycles are for a two (2) week duration, Monday to Friday.
