Course Overview

This course covers the concepts and techniques of installing, servicing, troubleshooting, splicing, testing and repairing fiber optic transmission cable, connection devices, links and spans diagnostically ranging from the intermediate installation for Enterprise Networks, LANs, WANs and Data Centers. Prior experience in optical fiber cabling, as well as a working knowledge of optical fiber transmissions is recommended before attempting a Fiber Optics Technician – Inside Plant course.
